Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes had a disappointing Christmas as they watched their boyfriends lose to the Las Vegas Raiders in a thrilling NFL game.
The pop superstar and the pregnant wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes were spotted in the stands at Allegiant Stadium, cheering on their partners Travis Kelce and Mahomes.
Swift, who has been dating Kelce since October, wore a festive red sweater and a Chiefs cap as she showed her support for her beau.
Mahomes, who is expecting her first child with Mahomes in early 2024, also donned a Chiefs jersey and a matching mask as she sat next to Swift.
The two women have become close friends since Swift joined the Chiefs family, and have been seen hanging out together at games and events.
But their friendship was not enough to lift the spirits of their boyfriends, who suffered a rare defeat at the hands of the Raiders.
The Raiders, who had lost their previous four games, pulled off a stunning upset over the Chiefs, who had won their previous eight games.
The Raiders led 17-0 at halftime, thanks to a touchdown pass from Derek Carr to Foster Moreau, a touchdown run from Josh Jacobs, and a field goal from Daniel Carlson.
The Chiefs mounted a comeback in the second half, with Mahomes throwing two touchdown passes to Kelce, who finished with 10 catches for 191 yards.
But the Raiders held on to their lead, with Carlson kicking another field goal and the Raiders defense stopping the Chiefs on their final drive.
The Raiders won 20-14, handing the Chiefs their third loss of the season and spoiling their Christmas.
The Chiefs, who have already clinched the AFC West division title, will look to bounce back next week when they face the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Raiders, who improved to 7-8, will try to keep their playoff hopes alive when they take on the Indianapolis Colts.
Swift and Mahomes will hope to see their boyfriends return to winning ways and celebrate with them in the new year.
