Duane "Keefe D" Davis, the alleged killer of rapper 2Pac, has been denied bail ahead of his trial. According to documents obtained by TMZ on Friday, December 29th, the state of Nevada is pushing back on Keefe's prior request to be released from custody on his own recognizance. His request also asked to set his bail no higher than $100k so that he could pay it if the original request was not possible.
Keefe D has been charged with the murder of Tupac Shakur 27 years ago and has been denied bail since his arrest in September. His lawyers filed a motion requesting that the 60-year-old be released while pending trial, which is scheduled to begin on June 3rd. However, the state of Nevada has deemed him "too dangerous" to be released on bail.
This latest development has sparked renewed interest in the case and has brought attention to the issue of violence in the music industry. It is important to remember that violence is never the answer and that we must work together to create a safer and more peaceful world.
