After nearly six years behind bars, Ralo, the former 1017 artist, has been released from prison. In June of last year, he was sentenced to eight years for drug conspiracy charges, but his team promptly shared a statement on social media predicting a late 2023 release. The statement revealed that Ralo had received over four years of credit for time served and was recommended for an ankle monitor after completing his GED or RDAP Drug program1.Celebrity gossip app for free

Footage circulating on social media confirms Ralo’s release from custody. The artist, who was arrested in 2018 on accusations of trafficking weed from California to Georgia, is now preparing to drop a new track titled “First Day Out.” Pre-saves for the single are already live1.

Former congressman Kwanza Hall, who joined the push for Ralo’s clemency in May 2021, expressed support for the artist’s rehabilitation. Ralo himself stated, “I have renewed myself during my trials and have become a more mature person. I have been introduced to better things in life and learned lessons that I didn’t know prior to my arrest” when discussing his readiness to move forward with his life1.

Ralo’s most recent full-length studio release was the April 2023 project titled “97 Months.” Now that he’s free, fans eagerly await his musical comeback and hope that the so-called “1017 Curse” won’t hinder his future endeavors1.
